The Diagnosis

Univest GP Race Report

After pulling into the racer's parking lot in the "team car" with Mike, Adrian, Zach Bolian (guest rider), and Neal were the only TSV guys to be found. We figured Chris and Bart had just gotten done with pre-riding the course again.

Well we're back from Austria. To sum it up, Cindy did not do as well as she had hoped...but Vienna was awesome. Here's her summary...

Mengoni Grand Prix 8/27 Report

Very early Saturday morning Chris Wilson and I lined up for the Mengoni Grand Prix. This race is a New York classic. It does 7 quick laps around Central Park, starting at 6AM. This year's field was especially stacked given that the Chris Thater Memorial was the day after and just a short drive away.

Adrian Gerrit's Hills of Housatonic Race Report

Adrian lined up for the Men's Cat 3 race by himself in a field of teams. The field started off at a fairly easy pace until the first hill when Adrian tried breaking away with a Louis Garneau team member, but they were reeled back in after 10 minutes of chasing.

Somerville Race Report - Mark Nielson

After a few weekends of longer road races, races in which I have been struggling in due to climbs that come at the worst possible time in the race for me. I set off to Somerville N.J. on a mission for a good result. I got to the race two hours early, ready to get registered and watch a few races then slowly prep for my short Cat 2 race.

Owasco Stage Race

May 14-15, 2005: Owasco Stage Race – Auburn, NY - This was the weekend I had planned to fly down to Arkansas to revisit the Joe Martin Stage Race in Fayetteville and stay an extra week to do the Tri-Peaks Challenge in Russellville. With some major changes happening on the “work front”, I opted for Plan B...a trek to upstate New York to do a 2-day, 3-event stage race.

Poolesville Road Race 5/14

Poolesville is a unique road race in that it has a 1.25 mile section of hard-packed dirt each lap. I decided to do this race because it was 5 laps for a total of 53 miles and the women in the DC area are notoriously strong. I was hoping for a challenging race and I got it!

Owasco Stage Race

This past weekend the TSV Elite/Espoir team competed in the Owasco Stage Race. This is a relatively new event, only in it's second year. However the promoter aggressively recruited Pro/Elite teams and ended up with 110 riders for the Pro,1,2 event, including riders from Navigators, Colavita, Ofoto and many of the top New England amateur teams.
